Welcome and Thank You for choosing Family 1st Dental as your dental health provider. What can you expect from your visits to us? At Family 1st we pride ourselves on making your experience convenient, comfortable, affordable, and stress free. If at any time you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to ask any of our staff or dentist for help!

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Insurance Card
Identification – ID, Driver’s License, etc.
List of current medications
Previous dental x-rays (if available)
Patient Forms – click here for a printable PDF form, print, fill out, and bring in for your appointment, or visit our home page to click on the Patient Form Icon. Some situations may call for paperwork to be filled out in-office instead of sent in the mail.

How early should I arrive to my first appointment?

You should arrive about 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. If for any reason you cannot make your appointment. Please call ahead and let us know so you may reschedule at your convince.

How long should I expect my first appointment to take?

On average your first appointment will last about an hour. You will get the most comprehensive and comfortable exam that you have ever experienced. If you can not make it to your scheduled appointment, please call ahead to reschedule.

Are teeth cleanings always included at first visit?

Cleanings may or may not be completed at your first appointment. A comprehensive exam needs to be completed prior to scheduling a cleaning to determine what kind of periodontal treatment is needed if any. Not every patient requires the same periodontal treatment. Once your dentist has completed the full exam a cleaning can they be scheduled with one of your hygienists. If you have any questions, feel free to contact your office at any time.
