Tessa Dergan, DDS was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated with a biology degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha where she ultimately found her passion for dentistry. She attended Creighton University School of Dentistry where she became a student ambassador, president of the American Association of Women Dentists, and held several leadership roles in the American Student Dental Association. During her senior year, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society.
Dr. Dergan values lifelong learning so she can always practice evidence-based dentistry. She continually tries to develop her skills by staying up to date on dental research and attending meetings at the Pankey Institute which trains dentists in complex and comprehensive care. She loves getting to know her patients, not just their smiles, and to help achieve results of which they can be proud.
When Dr. Dergan isn't at the office, she is most likely at the gym, taking care of her many plants, or playing with her two cats. She loves to spend time with her wonderful husband, Andrew, who is completing his family medicine residency in Sioux City, IA.
